The color set to reign supreme in 2025’s new-in collections is none other than soft powder pink. This delicate shade was a recurring theme across the spring/summer 2025 runways, with designers like Miu Miu, Khaite, Jil Sander, and Alaïa all spotlighting it as the season’s defining hue. While Barbiecore had us captivated with its bold, hyper-feminine brights, this new wave of pink takes on a subtler, more refined approach—fresh, sophisticated, and infinitely wearable. Think of it as “Glinda pink”—soft, airy, and romantic, but never overly sweet. With its toned-down pigment, the shade reads closer to a neutral than a playful pastel. Designers brought it to life through flowing silks and gossamer organza, channeling Grace Kelly–esque elegance. Meanwhile, Alaïa added an edge by contrasting the dainty hue with daring sculptural cutouts and voluminous parachute-inspired silhouettes, proving powder pink can be both delicate and daring.
